So many more babies are on the way now, we expect to have over 30 crias this early summer. And there is nothing cuter than a little herd of newborns racing about the pasture! We are going to be taking our animals up to the Estes Park Wool Market, June 13-14, we'll be in the Paco-Vicuña tent. Stop by and see a few of our Fall of 2008 baby crop. Also planned for the summer is the PacaBuddies Open House at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds, June 20-21. We will be taking another group of Paco-vicuñas and alpacas to this event, which features 25 other farms and their alpacas, and many fun activities for the family, plus seminars and demonstrations. Our farm will be talking about training techniques for the camelids. To follow these great events, we are going to have the Grand Opening of the Salida Jefferson Farms. With over 90 animals at the Salida farm, a visit is always a fun experience. We will be hosting 5-7 other farms in the area, so this is your chance to meet many of the local breeders in one location.
